Grokenstein: I don’t think they every told us what Al’s last name was, but I remember kidding around and suggesting it should be Lergy (Al Lergy) because he always needed a Kleenex. This was way back in the spring, when my own allergies were acting up,so it seemed a natural suggestion :) (maybe he should have had a henchman named Ben Edryl and a girlfriend named Clair Iton! LOL)
I’m wondering if they are going to follow up how Shirl became a “double agent”. You can’t “just become a cop” so she obviously had to train…unless she was involved with these baddies before she became a cop, she had to be corrupted. Why? How? and what’s the motive? I really hope we aren’t left hanging…
Thumbs down to DL on repeating two pannels of information from Sunday/last week. Glad that LT Teevo has time to run a background check since (1) he is not releasing your messages at convenient intervals and (2) he was too busy to run a check on Shirl.
I know that space is at a premium nowadays for strips, but I would like to see more backgrounds occasionaly, instead of entirely filling panels with “talking heads.”
Ohhhh the humanity. Someone once told me that DickTracy is a super cool detective because he has a two-way wrist watch. Poor LT Teevo, instead of just hearing DT on a cell-phone, he gets to monitor this 2 way wrist watch thing that apparently I hear projects a photo of DT to the recipient. Poor LT. I bet he is saying “I was supposed to be the recipient of a GOOD message!!!”.
Moriarity needs to close his giant mouth (I’m convinced that is not a mustache). Otherwise, I am going to feed him a grilled filet of the sole of my shoe enflambe. Maybe he would like to share with DT?? Happy Monday
I have been a fan of Dick Tracy since I was a child when by mother introducted me to the comic strip. For years I followed it even when I didn’t like all the stories. In 1979 or so my local newspaper dropped it,and it would not be until about 2004 with the wide use of the internet that I would be able to follow him again. Thank God for the internet! Sadly it would come too late for some of my other favorite comics like “Little Abner” and “The Lone Ranger”. But at least Tracy is a good man you can’t keep down!
Dberry, I wish that I could agree with you. But as Locher’s demensia progressed, so has detective Tracy’s. Earlier during the year, he (DT) was hospitalized and cared for by a nurse with the same name, by some lucky stroke. Your hero has changed; believe me.

Looks like DT’s left hand has been somehow twisted backwards. I still say Shirle has a mustache.

Glad to see Useless Teevo is still on the payroll! BTW, since this is a bank robbery, why weren’t the feds invited by Tracy?

Mondays tend to be “recap day” and the plot doesn’t get advanced not that it happens Tuesday through Sunday.

Morrow is right. Your hero has changed…not for the better.
