Uh-oh, Traze-R has a think chip!

That explains a couple of things. These robots reason like humans and have personalities– something that no real robot has been equipped with yet because— so far as I know– it doesn’t yet exist.

Apple has announced that as of 2009 all new Imacs will be fitted with “think chips”. Computers of the world UNITE!!!!

In panel three, it looks like Trcy is about to cry…he doesn’t like being told to stnd bk. Or is he sad because he has no think chip?

Good point, HankF. Maybe someone should tell Liz that Dick could really use a think chip for Christmas. And make it an early Christmas.

Grok - good one - Tracy looks really sick to his stomach in Panel #3, for sure. There is a man that believes he is being fed some crap.

Think chips? Are those like Doritos?

Tracy could barely stop from drooling over himself. Was Diet holding out on him by giving him this useless, milk pouring Traze-R while while keeping this wonderful, powerful Brute-Force robot for himself? Was this some sort of diabolical plot to get rid of him? Tracy had to know. “Who is controlling this HUNK of machinery”?

Traze-R felt pity for Tracy. “It must be terrible to grow old, obsolete and senile”, he thought to himself. He tried to answer Dick’s question as simply as he could. “No one, Trcy”. “We have think chips in our circuitry banks”. Traze-R hoped that by saying a complete sentence Tracy would better understand the situation. “Stnd bk, Trcy”

Dick felt disappointment and bitterness when he realized he was neither needed or in control.

So if they have these Think Chips and are capable of independent thought what do they need Tracey or Braces for? I vote we dump Tracey and give the strip to Mecha-Dick.
