Beat his head to a pulp Jack. Put him out of our misery. Hey, what the hell happened to the bike? It was a chopper yesterday, must be like Gerties weapons, they morph from day to day.
The chopper/touring bike has lost its rake and lost its extra running lights, too. Now it’s apparently an old Indian, and the outlaw biker has turned into an antique motorcycle fancier – with an alien Grey up his sleeve sticking his head out to view the road surface. Maybe a flying saucer will give them a lift and help them make it back in time to join in the violence.
Either that’s Tess in panel 3 or Jim only knows how to draw two or three different women and he already used Gertie so he has to reuse his Tess drawing to represent a woman we haven’t met yet.

You ALWAYS want to kill a world famous detective while people are watching.

OEJ’s arrogant pose with the roulette-wheel will be his “swan-song”–and he will no longer be a source of the reader’s misery!

What the heck is that under the Biker’s hand in panel one? A Siamese Twin wearing goggles and grining like he won one of the Casino jackpots?
Is there likely to be a Dell, or a Harvey company that would think it commercially viable to “reprint” this kind of rot?
To paraphrase Jack (3rd panel) “You made your last gamble, Locher”

@Sydney: Yeah, that’s SUPPOSED to be the rest of the biker’s glove, but I can see the little, horrible, deformed face, too.
It’s actually kind of good to see B.O. isn’t ALWAYS too dumb to live. He knows how to sweet talk a dangerous biker, which is something.
Watch out, Tracy! Jack’s armed with poor wordplay! And also… good lord, is that supposed to be a roulette wheel? Ick.

Tracy should call for backup. No one will show up anyway.

“Backup”? See 5-16-09 next week !
Tracy on the Wrist Gee Nee – “Headquarters, Send a squad to Jack’s Casino – Jackson at Ewing – on the double!”
Great ! Now doesn’t that sound hauntingly familiar! (?)
And like last time - - will they really arrive?

Yup, back to the usual horrors. Oh well….
