“Security breached”, hardly. Your agent may have been snuffed but your premises seem to be o.k. Now Macey is back outside, when they were just in a room with a window under the big top. Does this count for action in this strip? That has got to be the ugliest elephant around, and the rider has changed her attire again.

Seriously guys…MOON COUPE. It’s not like reintroducing that narrative could possibly make this strip any worse. And certainly there’s no one at TMS who cares enough to stop it.

Margueritem! How can an elephant hold a gun let alone manage to pull the trigger?

Where to start, where to start….

The Elephant with the wobbly leg and batty ears. The lady on the elephants back even though the show is over - maybe she is a mannequin that is glued onto its back. panel 1 - always from a distance everybody’s eyes are closed but close up it is open. the black stripe along the chief’s head(shadow) that suddenly continue on the jacket??

@BB from yesterday - surely we do not need to tell these people how they can improve their strip??? If they read the comments each day the will have enough info already. Or do you believe everybody should always help other people do their work?

Now that J. Edgar Locher is on the scene, this case should be wrapped up in no time…..Although as I look at it again, even though it says FBI, with the “Chief” reference and the face on the agent, maybe this is turning into, “Get Smart”. Sorry about that, Chief.

Just when you think DT can not possibly get any more inane, Locher pulls another terrible strip out of his arse.

    “Damage control” ?

Wait until you see how cockeyed this whole plot becomes next month. This erases any lingering doubt that Locher makes up the next step “tit bit” by “tit bit” as he sits down each morning. Painfully disjointed, out of whack and contradictory, almost as if he completly forgot what he had written and presented yesterday.

The “developments” will shock you. not because they’re brilliant but because they are so collasaly laughable.

But I’m the fool not to have expected it, he does it in almost every tale these days. Angelorious and those Credir Card and Tax Return Red Herrings. The new one is the finger prints on the note. Locher has “forgotten” about that already. Why not … lets move on to the next “goof”,

The latter are the only things that “MOVE” quickly in modern day Dick Tracy

I guess, the fact that TMS lets him “get away” with it, is why we have a poster (hulking down ? in hiding now ?) who proudly “thinks” he is a GENIUS

Selecting a NAME like that, “signals” WHERE he’s coming from.

With excellent coordination of trunk and tusks, the elephant fires the fatal shot.

Hey Chromosome! You have it half right…… you load the elephant through the trunk. Then you turn him around and lift the tail. And given enough peanuts, the elephant is the equivalent of a Claymore mine.

    Good rendition, BB.

Carlo Coratelli, I like the drawings, lots of action portrayed. Can’t tell about the story due to the language difficulty.

    bassmanbob,

Your story interpretation was another classic. I liked the part about the “deformed” hand on the desk and Dumbo the Special Agent (shows you’ve been reading ahead). We may have a Circus full of crooks a special agents an a Joker named Dick Tracy

Can I be your Agent to offer your services, scripting the New DickTracy (?) after Mattie makes it official on October 4, that Locher has now completely transformed the strip into a comedic one. For they need a “ghost writer” to give it more bounce to the ounce !

If nothing else, Mattie is proving he’s “well informed” (after returning from kissing a ring in Naperville). It’s not well known but that’s what they had in mind with J.Kindly Goodfellow (2004), a time when you never saw the villain’s face even at the end …. all you saw was a hand with a ring resting on a railing. Which was a secret “signal” to his Disciples to come “kissing”.

And now we know WHO did !

Maybe October 4 is when the strip’s “action” will actually move forward a step.
