Hey thanks a whole heck of a lot, Locher. I took too long at the Safeway and my mom reported that I was missing.

    Tracy has his hands full!

If my mother had followed Crimestopper’s Textbook, she would have called the police every night! Come to think of it, my wife would have called them quite frequently also…

The owner of the missing loved one looks quite jolly about the whole thing. Tracy asks for photos of the tattoo and the cause of death. I just hope it’s a visible cause of death…

And this is why commas are important, kids!

From where I’m standing, the small lake is beginning to look like a puddle of water… and the policeman standing in the puddle looks as if he is ready to draw both pistols – cowboy fashion…

Another Sunday train wreck trying to compress the story into a few panels for those who onlysee it on a weekly basis. Reading it is like watching a movie edited with a weed whacker.

Looks like Mrs. D’B is getting ready for a trip to the morgue. Check out her eyes, lips and fingernails: talk about jaundice!

At least that cop on the phone at the creek got over his liver lips condition.

Pretty bad when a strip can’t even get the colors right.

Crimestoppers: If that guy is supposed to be a “loved one” then I can see why no one called when he turned up missing. Question of the day: what is that object in his hand? I didn’t know this strip published blue material.

Panel-Panner said, “Question of the day: what is that object in his hand? I didn’t know this strip published blue material.”

I believe it is the guy’s cell phone. He’s calling the police to report that his wife hasn’t returned home in over a week.

Oh my Lord! I had to stare at the Crimestopper’s Textbook for a moment to get what Panel-Panner was talking about, and then I saw it.

    Yikes!

What happened to Tracy’s wrist radio? He’s using a cell phone, like the rest of us.

Crimespammers textbook: Depending on the specific loved one (and the size of the insurance policy), you may instead want to call the caterers and plan a party.

I’m afraid if I called the police on the disappearance of my mother-in-law, they might charge me.

”Is the body D’Buckworth’s ? All I have is a poor puzzel”

All you have to DO is check the DNA !

This in just a ‘variation’ of that body left on the Stage.

What with the funky art and morphing of buildings, no wonder the strip is not taken seriously and regarded as a PUNCHING BAG ! :

I remember coming home from an interstate hitchhike to a Donovan concert. All the lights were on and there was a patrol car in the drive.Between the kindly police officer and my parents, it was decided if I didn’t leave the yard for the summer, I could probably paint the house How’d they ever figure out my guitar wasn’t me under the covers?

Wait … the police? I thought … I thought you were supposed to notify the media?

No, I remember now. That’s only if the missing person is a photogenic white girl.

The cop in the creek is either getting ready to draw on the other cop or he needs to get to the bathroom quickly.

The guy in crimestoppers looks delighted that his wife hasn’t come home.

The guy in the morgue with the glasses: I have never seen a face drawn that one-dimensional–There is absolutley no depth there at all. It’s like Salvador Dali’s clock. Amazing.

Another Great Dick Tracy Sunday comic strip. Great to see the fun Dick Tracy daily stories told in full color!

Love the color in today Sunday strip. My favorite is the larger scene at the Cress Creek.

Another cool Dick Tracy style character at the Morgue. Classic Dick Tracy grotesque-style!

Someone pointed out that all the phones are different for each character. Cool. Mrs. D. even has the New I-phone!

Too bad Conan O’Brien’s so down on his luck. He should be “back on his feet” in September when his New TV show starts. Good Luck to him on TBS!!

    Flight Suit,

If it’s who I think it IS, he calls it “meds”. ;-)

I’m a little surprised that he’s using an ‘assumed’ name, not too long ago he was BLASTING those that did ! Accusing them of sneaks - hiding their ‘identities’.

Always got the impression he felt it was beneath him.

Sherlock Holmes would demand that Tracy turn in his badge. Tracy hasn’t done one thing right, even by Scotland Yard standards in the SH stories. Great jumpin’ Jehosaphat, he’s phoning in his performance! Lestrade would be all over him like white on rice for this.

By now, Holmes would know for sure who the body was, have a pretty good handle on the killer and how it was done, and might be within hours of effecting an arrest. And, that was with late 19th century technology. Imagine what he could do with the stuff we have available today.

Y’know, I tried– I really did– but it’s impossible to stay away long from this train wreck. It just keeps getting worse, and you just have to see how much worse it can get.

Hey Macy! How about old age for a reason? Looking at his better half, her “wear bars” are showing, as they say at the tire shop.
