Flight Suit, I think it makes sense. The cocaine is being smuggled in flour bags. Hot Rize couldn’t do anything that would draw too much attention to those particular bags. Probably she put shipping labels on them and took it for granted that the workers would follow their directions. The story she gives Earl is a good one; it gives a reason to get those bags back without raising much suspicion. (At least as long as no one says “Huh? What new type of flour?”)
When Earl was delivering the bags to the Plenty’s he was described as looking like a terrorist. Now he is described as looking like “Honest Abe” Lincoln.
What am I to think?
Poor Earl, he needs to be more aware of the plot device being introduced in a few days. Let us also hope the colorists for this strip are aware of it as well. Night-Gaunt49 is close. (grin)

For her to let a mistake like that happen, she must be getting high off her own supply.

At least she was nice to Earl about the whole thing.
I hope that ‘FB’ isn’t Face Book…

Great script; there’s enough dialogue here for a week of other strips!
I love the art, especially Hot Rize’s reaction in panel 2 - that’s a look of real pain you can (almost) sympathize with.
(Of course, that pain is nothing compared to what’s coming, considering what happened to the bad guys in the LAST story!)

Where I work, the worst thing to do is set something aside and put a note on it - Do not Touch - then it will disappear for sure.

I’m starting to love this story! It’s pretty obvious things are going to get more complicated for Ms. Rise.
As for attractive female villains, Painted Lady, Pollyanna and Mrs. Chin Chillar also come to mind.

Let’s just hope poor Earl doesn’t get attacked by any of those autonomous bear traps the Plentys keep in their home.

Can you imagine the biscuits that the Plenty’s are going to be having this morning?

Unless there are small packets of “blow” hidden inside of the big bags of flour, what would the street value of 200# of coke be worth?

Earl seems a little slow. If he replaced those bags which were closer to the truck with other bags, he didn’t save himself any work.

Earl got distracted thinking about the speech he’s going to be giving before the Civil War reenactors.
