A cop should always have a back-up gun (maybe in an ankle-holster, or at the small of the back) Some would prefer something with a shrouded hammer, like a Smith &Wesson J-frame. Tracy had better keep a sharp eye on Morning Gloria, though; she may be down, but she is by no means out!

Does anyone know why GoComics took down last Sunday’s 9-11 tribute page? If you try to go back to see it, you get a blank screen and a small note saying “try again later – the management”. This has been that way since Monday morning.

Love it! Someone with as much experience as Tracy would logically carry a back up piece!

Meanwhile, Lizz is playing Simon Sez with Mina: “Simon Sez put out your hands… Simon Sez wear the handcuffs… Simon Sez you have the right to remain silent…”

It wasn’t uncommon, in Gould’s day on the strip, to see Tracy bust through a door with a pistol in each hand!

Wonder what will happen with the guy they’re “caring for”. Will it turn out that they’ve been drugging him all this time to keep him dependent? Hope we see that loose end get tied up too. With the new team writing DT, I expect that we will.

Right on DT. Just wonder, what’s next? This is turning out great. Cousin G sure has a mess.

This strip has never been better….

In Chicago (Rahm-ville), the backup piece can also be used as a “throw down”, in case they need a little more evidence. Betcha the one Tracy has doesn’t have a legible serial number and was prolly made in Romania.

Hope you are right Ray C. But the TMS “wind up stories quick” - imperative, could cast a shadow on a needed solution.

@morrowTracy isn’t the kind of cop who would need or use a “throw down” piece. Very few cops would do that. Great wrap-up to a great fight sequence. I loved the way Lizz ended her fight.

In the recent Dick Locher era, he would have only carried one gun.

Roy Rogers used to advertise a cowboy hat that held a toy pistol on a scissors-like spring. Take off the hat and the pistol sprang up to fire a cap. Makes me wonder what Dick has in his fedora . . .
