At least one of the writers is an NCIS fan. Sam’s comment is very reminiscent of what DiNozzo always says when Gibbs barks orders at him, ’I’m on it Boss". Great job everybody. Thanks for resurrecting this strip.
G’morning everyone!Love today’s strip. Not only is the story moving along fast but Mike’s dialogue is believable and realistic, and Joe’s art includes a nicely subtle expression on Chief Patton’s face in panel 3.Thanks again for rescuing the strip!
Just a thought about yesterday’s strip…is ‘Lawn Order’ a nod to another great cartoonist of the past, Walt Kelly? I remember a story line where the Swampsters were running around yelling ‘Lawn Order is coming to town’.
It’s a huge difference. Chief Patton will have all he can do to keep Tracy from rushing to the crime scene. It wasn’t that long ago we were all groaning because Tracy was hiding behind some bushes, screaming while robots were killing each other— or in some other way trying to hide while the criminals ran wild. I like this Tracy, he’s got what it takes.

I love the way this zips along. The looks on Sam and Lizz’s faces say they know exactly what that address implies.

Wise advice, Chief.

Chief Patton is being very wise, yet I’m sure Tracy will become involved somehow….

I like the idea of using Chester Gould’s name in P1.

Good morning all…
DT gets better as it progresses

Patton is right of course, though I doubt Tracy will see it that way..

In the first panel, look close at Lizz, if her skin was way darker she would look like Lt. Uhura from ST/tos..\\//_

The art is so much better with the new team. The old team made Tracy’s classic nose look like a pig’s snout.

Now this is how to build suspense. I’m literally on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what happens next!
