Wild speculation time…there have been comments on Sam’s constant smoking and how Putty Puss is similarly dressed to Sam. If Dick sees Sam without his smokes, he might want to start thinking he’s not who he appears to be…just sayin’.
If Cueball doesn’t watch his temper, Cratchit might turn State’s Evidence on him. Cueball needs to be nice to Cratchit. Take him hunting or something like that.
I bet that when the shooting starts Spike Jr’s band will play ’Cocktails for Two" … remember that old golden oldie? … with the pistol shots, etc? Love it!
Hey, fellow Dick Tracy fans, here’s something cool I recently discovered:I have a boxed set of the first season of the old PERRY MASON tv show. In the episode titled “The Case of the Long-Legged Models”, there is a scene where private detective Paul Drake, played by William Hopper is on the phone at his desk. Right by his elbow is a portrait sketch of Dick Tracy’s famous profile, and the words “Paul Drake – With our very best wishes”. There is also a word balloon, but I can’t make out what Tracy is saying. It is signed by Chester Gould, in the lower right corner. It has nothing to do with the story, but appears to be a prop to add atmosphere. But the sketch sure looks genuine – very few artists could draw Tracy quite like Chester Gould himself. Of course, Joe Staton comes very close with the way he is drawing him now.

It’s not Cratchit’s fault, Cueball! Try to remember that before you start to pulverize him! C’mon, MCS!

Hoo boy. I bet Cueball’s gonna be glad that the MCS are there.

Cueball and Crachit better get the money back fast or else Mr. Crime will be sending someone(s) to pay them a little visit. Perhaps Blaze Rize?
