Terrific! We’re getting to see the loose ends tied up!I was wondering if Mole would be able to get the money. And with Patty on the mend, and Thunderchild in jail, that about wraps things up…Or is Mike going to throw us another curveball?
Well, Patty is recovering (and can manage her pedicure even though in a cast), but she has lost the Thunderchild account to the law and now Mole’s account to his mistrust of the non-subterranean world. Kind of a wistful ending. —And now, on to Blackjack and Officer (Agent?) Dietrich!
Could there possibly be a better heart tugging moment in comics this year than the daily that had the Mole being taught to spell “cat” by the little girl? This strip continues to be my first and best read here.
Ye Gods, I have shiny purple big toe!.Holey Moley, you are one sorry sight. That is you would be if I could see the hand in front of my face..Thanks for the complement?!?.I just find a tunnel and start foraging again for food. _ Grub, Grub._
Just got off the phone with Mike. Blaze Rize will be showing up next week. And the Mole will return at some point. This summer there will be a BIG fight sequence. And poor Sam!
Jean Giraud, Moebius, one of France’s leading comics artists, has died in Paris at the age of 73 after a long illness. He also worked on design concepts and storyboards for a number of top science fiction films, including Alien, Tron, The Abyss and The Fifth Element.
He was popular in the US and Japan, working with legend Stan Lee and manga artists, as well as in his homeland He drew for more than 50 years, under various names, but was most widely known as Moebius.
He created the INCAL, the unspeaking Arzak, who glides above the peaks and canyons of distant worlds, and Michael “Blueberry” Donovan, the peripatetic American Civil War vet who first roamed a Leone-like Old West in 1963.

This was a fine ending, and it was kind of Mole to call on Patty.

IMHO Joe, Mike, Shelly, Shane and Jim are the best team working in syndicated adventure comics. -And they will get my vote for the Harvey Award.

Patty Cure just likes getting pedicures and showing her feet. She’s done now, and I promise not to show Sam Catchem’s feet,.

What’s a little thing like a broken leg as long as you can still get your pedicure?

Yeah, isn’t that just like the Mole, visiting Patty in the hospital. This strip is awesome.
