How did they hear about the Mr. CRime raid? The Mole?

I can understand that she heard about the raid on TV, and carjacked an ambulance to snatch Tracy. But she must be a part-time fotune teller to know to prepare a hospital room (with the equipment) for when Tracy gets shot.(Unless she figured, with Tracy’s history, it was just a matter of time.)

Stiletta Jones is dressing in style.I actually couldn’t find any more recent photos of a fencing uniform with a heart on it.

Love Tracy’s comment about a “cousin twice removed” – shot, drained of blood, and held prisoner by a vengeful widow, and he’s still cool enough to joke.Of course, that “expert surgeon” bit doesn’t bode well…

Joke? Or was Tracy code-talking? It looks as though Sam’s wrist (i.e., Wrist Wizard) answered him. Was Tracy giving directions and/or assault instructions to the MCU in that otherwise nonsensical statement?

Tracy probably told Sam something and it wasn’t a joke.

Yes, code-talk is what I would expect….can’t seem to figure it out, though.

LOVE tracy’s comment to sam about his second cousin twice removed with the chainsaw! at first i thought it was some kind of code between them, then it struck me. whodathunk tracy had a sense of humour! on top of that, stiletta even went and explained how they lucked out at capturing tracy… if only some of the posters would have been patient they would have known that sooner or later she would mention it. oh and for the record.. HER explanation is the exact same one that i had thought of myself, that they had planned on taking tray all along but the raid on panda’s place worked in their favor! and isnt it lucky for tracy that franz is an expert surgeon. i bet he studied under dr mengele!

Nice to see Tracy hasn’t lost his sense of humor. Haven’t seen it in awhile.

I guarantee you Tracy was talking code and it was most likely transmitted. The “cousin twice removed” has got to be the key. Mike and Joe wouldn’t waste a whole panel with small talk. A few years back, the writer would make two weeks of yuk-yuk, puns, and only stopping short of bringing on the Three Stooges.

I’m surprised Sam still has his Wrist Wizard. One would think it has been confiscated when he got caught. I wonder if it’s transmitting? .Personally, I think it’s time for Sam to ask if he can have a smoke then pull a distraction ;)

HOLY SCHMOLY! Of course, Frizzletop was Flattop’s cousin. That is what the “Cousin twice removed” is about! Definitely some code talking going on here!

All of you sharp Tracy fans really have the wheels spinning today! My first thought was that the remark was some kind of code speak. Then I thought, as many times as someyhing like this has happened to Tracy, maybe he IS joking. I mean, BB Eyes tried it, Blowtop tried it, Itchy Oliver got together with Kitty to try it, Angel Top tried it, Mrs. Pruneface tried it . . .So, Tracy is both cracking wise AND speaking a coded message. The thing about Frizzletop being Flattop’s cousin, that’s GOT to mean something. Today’s strip is filled with cleverness! Way to go, Mike and Joe!

One little thing – they know about the Wrist Wizards, because they took Tracy’s and dumped it in the river. You’d think they would take Sam’s, or at least make sure it isn’t trasmitting.

I have always been curious……how far ahead are the strips actually written? I figure at least the storyline length of six weeks, huh? Still, it’s eerie how well some people guess things here….almost like their suggestion was taken, lol.(although I’ve read Chester Gould did actually used to write stories with no idea of how they would end, improvising as he went along to maximize the suspense….)

……of course, now I understand why Sam didn’t just draw his gun and cuff Stiletta and Franz in the beginning…..he had to check into that free medical care program they offer, lol.

Just for the record, Frizzletop’s first appearance actually predates Flattop’s by several years. Her home state was said to be Texas..This story marks the first time that a family relationship between Frizzletop and all the Oklahoma “Tops” has been suggested.

Moi? I was simply referring to the hijinks in Gasoline Alley a month or so ago – in which Larry, Moe and Curly actually appeared.
