Now, there, finally, is the emotional reunion with Junior and Honeymoon. In Sparkle’s previous state Junior had to suppress with emotions, rather than confront angry Sparkle. He left Honeymoon to deal with Sparkle until he could tell Dick Tracy the good news.

I’ll take that as a “yes”. :-)

Poor old Junior still has a lot of emotional turmoil to work through vis-a-vis Mysta, but I’m sure it will be handled well. There are still a LOT of threads running in this story, though.

JPuzzleWhiz: I was one of those wondering where the sam hill Junior was. While I still look forward to his interaction with his not-so-dead first wife, Junior’s absence yesterday almost suggested that perhaps a “trist” or a possible adultery angle coming up in this arc..That is not where I’d like to see the arc go..For those who may not remember, what I am looking for is a story about what happens to a dearly beloved spouse who is mistakenly declared “legally” dead..Seeing no other viable candidates on the horizon, I have cast my lot behind the unsinkable Mysta Moon Maid..Death does not kill love, nor should it. Death should not end marriage and, in our church, it doesn’t..Here’s hoping this turns into a tender, introspective, and poignant discussion of what love and marriage really are..Oh, what am I saying? This is Dick Tracy! What we need now is a good old fashioned murder!.Jealousy is often a motive for murder. At least in many detective stories, that is..And, let’s face it, the body count has been rather low so far this arc..Who knows where Mike and Joe are taking us..I’ll shut up for now and just enjoy the ride.

You said…Amazing!!! Just being in the presence of Dick Tracy can restore lost memories! Simply amazing!!!! LOL!!Look back to yesterday – this subject came up, and another poster put up a comment referencing research that has been done which suggests that memories from childhood return first in many amnesia patients, followed by memories from later in the person’s life. Sparkle has known Dick Tracy from infancy, and likewise her parents. Seeing them all together was probably the jolt she needed to restore her memory.

I wonder if little Attitude’s face will ever be seen?

Ken in Ohio: When Jesus said there would be no marriages in heaven, he meant the ceremonies; the marriages would be conducted here. As for heaven, people tend to forget that Paul also said, man is not without the woman and the woman is not without the man, once in heaven….What is not scriptural is that marriage ends with death..The point of this existence was to establish marriages that were to last for time and all eternity..(Use of that language will probably reveal which Christian church that I belong to).But that is all I will say on the subject. This is probably not the venue for such a discussion.

Don’t worry yourself, SDM. If you start to hear a lot of annoying buzzing for no reason, a mosquito can always be red flagged, too.

Ken in Ohio: Good question. Though, I don’t think that I was harping on it. But, as they said when I was an officer in the Air Force, “appearances are everything,” and apparently, it appears that I was “harping.”.One, it was a story that I wanted to see if anyone dared to tackle – and for some time, it appeared that perhaps Mike and Joe were going to do just that – and I wanted to “egg them on.”.Two, because the basics of where I am coming from are fundamentally Biblical and, as MikeyJ noted, this is not the place for a “Bible bash.”
