Richard, have them film the interview at HQ. This way there’ll be no surprises like last time.

I suppose that Christmas Early is preferable to Wendy Wichel, but I think when we last saw Christmas Early, Tracy was saying she ought to be charged with aiding and abetting Putty Puss, so I have a feeling that the two of them combined is not going to go so well for Dick.

That Wendy “Wench-ell” must have some ax to grind with Tracy or the law. She probably got a speeding ticket once upon a time and hasn’t forgotten it. Good luck, Tracy.

Wendy Wichel was critical of Tracy’s record, claiming that he consistently used excessive force and had killed more people in the line of duty than any other detective in the country

i stand corrected… it WAS joe tracy on the dock with popeye and tracy back on october 29…. i am sure more than a few people took pleasure in pointing that out over the weekend, but i dont have access to a system on saturday and sunday so i missed out on allt he jabs… dang it ;)

if i were tracy, i’d steer clear of christmas early.. everytime she comes around it seems putty puss isnt too far behind her. tho wendy wichel isnt much of a consolation prize either.

Christmas Early’s outfit is 1940s retro, and just as inappropriate as the double-team media smear is shaping up to be. Wendy Wichel hates Dick Tracy and will do any unethical thing she can to make him look bad. I wonder if Mayor Armstrong has some secret grudge against Tracy, or some still-hidden mob connection?

I wonder if Christmas Early has ever covered an Anthro Con in her “fur suit”. (grin)

    Good morning everyone…

I suppose we can say goodbye to Dr. Ghoute, Dr. Sail, and the “pilot”!

Five by noon! That’s a slow day for him, RWM. I think Nurse Tracy (see BB’s thriller, “Return To The Planet of The Magpies”) must have taken away his computer privileges for the weekend.

stilldamatt, do i have to reiterate about “LIGHTING AND SHADOWING” to you to explain the intricacies of colorists’ jobs?

tracy’s shirt in panel two is BACK LIT, thats why it looks blue.

remember to get your big red crayon and a piece of paper to take notes next time ok!? :)

" Gee I sure hope Sydney wakes up soon so he can chime in with his astonishing and gut busting insults! Woo Hoo!!! "-———————————————————————————-

Your ‘Woo Hoo’ woke me up !

Had gone to sleep after you’d tried to pin the GoComics colorist’s blue shirt ‘mistake’ on superior artist Joe Staton’s shoulder !

Tells the Board you couldn’t ‘scratch up’ a thing today, so you invented one and hoped no one would notice.

Seems you take thoughtful responses to your mistakes as insults ? Why those unhappy characterizations ?.Many that read the Board fully know the significance of Magpies and it’s earliest ORIGIN on the Board ! Shouldn’t you graciously - take a bow ! .

Wow, Dick sure must be sweating a lot to have to change his shirt TWICE in one strip!

There’s a bluish cast to the shadows, not at all unusual, though that colour tends to come from sunlight. Incandescent light tends towards the yellow spectrum, while fluorescent light is commonly greenish. Some varieties of fluorescent tubes are “warm white,” “cool white,” and “daylight.” The fluorescent light will be coming primarily from the middle of the room, but Tracy is facing the middle of the room and an interior doorway. To his side, you’ll notice sunlight filtering through the blinds in panel 1. That is where the bluish cast to the shadows is coming from. The highlights of his hair are also blue, which I thought was very effective.

Now that Dick has accepted Popeye as his personal savior things should unfold as we go into the origins of the Sunday funnies. Junior’s book will be a big part of this too…I think It’s all pretty unpredictable…Let the show happen…
