Good morning, all!Why Silver did not burn that bloody jacket?

Did Lena just finish another big meal? Who was it this time? Myles was a couple of weeks ago.

Lena’s a sweetie.

It was a couple of weeks ago our time, but maybe just a day or less in comic time.

I wonder if Sprocket is wearing shoes? Bare feet are not permitted on Amtrak trains.

So, it seems that they do have a warrant to force themselves in — they just haven’t done it yet.

I’m assuming Sprocket has tranquilized Lena for the trip, but it’s a long trip. What happens “hours” from now when she wakes up? I actually don’t think that Lena would be inclined to attack Sprocket, who is the source of her meals, but she may not have the same attitude towards whoever’s around when she wakes up, unless they have food.

I note that the Nitrates are still at the train station, so it’s not too late for that “train chase” I was imagining, though I’m not so sure such a thing will happen. If Tracy and company did board the train, would they soon be out of their jurisdiction, or how would that work?

I am really liking these two characters. Very original in looks and appearance. However, I don’t think they will be around after this climax, but then again, anything can happen in the Tracy world.

So did I miss the bit where they collected the money from Vitamin? Or are they doing a flit without the money?

It’s just a thought, but I can see Silver taking a glance at the TV in the lounge, and seeing his 15 minutes of fame. And thank you, avenger09 for the well wishing; it was 77 here yesterday. A/C was on – all over the state.

The scam having failed utterly, the Nitrates are now on the lamb, with their hyena, who sleeps tonight. I assume they’re skipping, too, on their lease or rent or mortgage for the Lyric Theater—so, there is yet another possible charge against them. Where now by choo-choo? Or, will Tracy and Sam find something to lead them to the train station?

A long time ago, I read a book by a “smart” master criminal (white collar – no murders) – who turned himself in after 30 years because the constant care to prevent stupid mistakes that would get him caught was very taxing – almost like being in prison (and he did get to compare).
