The return of the Monroe brothers!

Weren’t Sputnik and Satellite on the Space Coupe?!?!?!?

The Munro boys are back!…Well all but one of them.

Only now had a chance to review yesterday’s comments section and I found it very interesting.There is a certain someone (we all know who) once again being bashed.This poster’s last 4 comments over the last few days were:“Wow the suspense the past few days is totally intense!!! The artwork and color scheme are award winning, trophy worthy!! I’d be shocked if newspapers aren’t lining up to run the strip in their dailies once again!!!”“Golly Gee Whiz Gweedo, it’s so nice to have you back. All of us here at camp Tracyville sing as a choir in one unified voice, expressing our gratitude and appreciation to all the good work being done here. There’s no room for naysayers, and I’ve seen the light!!!”“Thank you everyone for your congrats to my son on his graduation.”“Happy mothers day to any moms on the board and to all our moms.”Personally, I don’t see anything in these comments that should have elicited the vitriol that was displayed here! Can’t we give someone a break, people?

Well the Nitrate’s car obviously has even more amazing capabilities than we realize. I’m sure that they’re somewhere safe and sound.

So somebody is obviously very unhappy with Commissioner Rosato, but it’s not obvious to me who that would be. I don’t see Angus trampling anyone to death at this moment. I think he knows that it would arouse suspicion right now, doesn’t he?

I think he is being driven to a meeting with Melies and Venus.

Didn’t they already drag the lake?

Someone has chosen to go Old School on the weak link, using Satellite and Sputnik Munro as muscle. Will Rosato get a chance to “explain himself” to the angry boss, or is he already on his last ride? And just who ordered him to be taken out? Past appearances with Tabby Angus suggest the fair Venus might be the one!

Dr. Tim Sail. Was he a villain with a “normal” name? Nothing grotesque at all?

“OH MY GOSH”! This is too good to be true; The Munro Brothers!!!. Woo Hoo! What a great surprise. So happy with the storyline that I don’t even notice the weird balls on the table or the missing lines for the 6 & 9. Does it get any better than this? I THINK NOT!

Well, Tabby boy might get mad enough to trample someone himself by all this!

Oh goodie, “Thing One and Thing Two” have returned

I like your bit about the car corroding, which is why the recovery team didn’t find it! Just like, at the end of Dr. Mordred, when there wasn’t enough of him to fill a coffee can!.Even though the spoiler is out there, that the Nitrates will be back..Still hoping that the last Munro will be back with a pair of docs!.And tsull2121, I agree with you – Still Da Avenger can be fun to read..In the mean time, as the Queen of Heart Smart and Steamed Vegetables might say,.Give peas a chance!

I’m guessing Rosato is heading for a chat with Venus, who will not be happy when she learns Tracy has taken over the Angus investigation.Who’ll get Angus? Tracy or Melies (to keep him quiet about the Blackhearts)?

Don’t know about anyone else here, but I read the comics for an escape from reality. My wife of more then 30 years died in January, after a very long fight with cancer. She entered Hospice on the second anniversary of the death of our only child, who died very suddenly on Christmas Eve, 2011.I skip over the trolls, here and elsewhere.

Da Commissioner’s got trouble, right there in River City…..

Just what we need, another story line without an ending.

I like where this comic strip is going. Tomorrow’s comic strip should be real good.

The Munro Bros work for the Blackhearts, so there’s no doubt Venus and Melies are behind this kidnapping. I suspect an agreement to bag Commissioner Rosato may have been part of the “delicate negotiations with the Blackhearts” that Tabby mentioned in last Saturday’s strip.

Sputnik Munro whose name and appearance are evocative of the famous Memphis territory wrestler from the 60s Sputnik Monroe, is back with his brothers. Last seen, the brothers were working for the Blackhearts, whose interest in stealing a Space Coupe has yet to be explained. Their unfortunate brother Flash was last seen frantically attempting to control the Coupe along with fellow passengers Ghote and Sail. Their reappearance in the story underscores that they are still connected to Venus and her ilk. Perhaps we will learn the fate of the missing Coupe now that the main characters are now back in focus.

From his shifty, unkempt look, I had always thought that Rosato was corrupt but apparently not corrupt enough. Did he refuse money? Why was it necessary for the Munro’s to bound and gag him (then stupidly call each other by name in his presence). Did they stop up his ears as well?

Has Gweedo fallen afoul of the GoComics moderator again? I notice that all of his posts have been removed.

I don’t know. If you go to his page, there are no comments there at all, though it says he’s made over 24,000 of them.
