Just is just like watching a good police procedural movie…

It look as if some days have gone by (think how many Belinda episodes have passed), so unless this is a flash back it means the deception kept the trail cold for quite a long time, which is the best anyone could really expect. But yes, either Tracy was expected or he was picked up on radar (this is NOT the 1940s) and ambushed when he went ashore.Can’t help wondering if Dick will get a nice new motor out of this though.

Goooooood morning VB! I know it’s only a comic but I can’t help feeling for Tess right now. Yes she’s been through the ringer with Tracy before but this must be nerve wrecking for her.

Boy, am I surprised! I was expecting to see some development of the Hotshot Charlie subplot.

Axel does not want anyone coming to Thunder Island to look for any missing person. To return the boat and sink the car (as glimpsed in the image projected by Lizz’s Wrist Wizard), is to create the impression that Tracy returned from his excursion. I do not believe this means Axel was expecting Tracy. I believe security is tight and that if Axel suspected Tracy was searching for Annie, Tracy would not have been hypnotized into believing he is a police officer in Simmons Corner. Axel does not know about Annie’s letter. Axel does not know that Annie and Tracy are not hypnotized. That there is traffic on and off the island further supports the belief that no time travel has actually taken place. Finally, we know that Lizz looks especially fine in the third panel. Will Axel’s misdirect slow down the MCU? I’m looking forward to finding out.

ok so wait.. then ALL OF THIS has happened… OVERNIGHT?!?!?! ed doesnt say “Around 3am two weeks ago” or anything to clarify WHEN he saw tracy… so are we to believe thsi whole mess is within the span of 24 hours?!?!?! not according to other tips and hints throughout it.

SOMEONE needs to clarify! oh and by the way.. i reead straight thru rom the 9th til today, and i am SOOOOO happy to see that theres been ZERO PROGRESS so far! glad i didnt miss anything!

So much for time travel. This is clearly a big, well-organized operation with plenty of staff. Returning Tracy’s boat, sinking his car, and then getting back requires at the very least another boat and crew. But we already suspected that of Axel’s deception, didn’t we? The larger question is, what is Axel up to? Why the wholeThunder Island effort? Is it just to get at Prof. Kenyon’s discoveries?

I was right, Tess did get involved. Will they assume Tracy is dead?

Actually it was the car that Axel tried to brine, not the boat! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Axel wants the MCU to think that Tracy tried a power jump over Lake Michigan, like he did with Dr. Mordred. The MCU, knowing Tracy, might have to ponder that one a while…… it’s possible.

In the Boat and in the Car, !You’d think that in a detective story - they might find some helpful CLUES ?Fingerprints perhaps ?

But I’m disposed to think that the ‘activity’ will - by tomorrow, simply move on elsewhere.

Who drove Tracy’s car into the lake? Me thinks it was the Nitrates….

I think it was quite clever of them to return the boat and hide the car. It explains why nobody noticed the car still sitting in the parking lot so many days later.
