Great! DT is back! If any of you missed the nice finale to the Annie crossover yesterday and if you still cannot access it here, go to AzCentral Comics tor read it! A perfect ending. Thanks Mike and Joe!
Hark! Vista Bill’s pal Vitamin Flintheart is back!
I also want to say thank you to Neil Wick for translating the Crimestoppers text yesterday. Too bad I couldn’t make out the read deal, I thought it was one of the more interesting ones.I’ll certainly remember to “save that evidence” whenever I come on to a crime scene, lol.
With all the confusion yesterday, I’m sure this didn’t get seen:So, I repeat:“@MorrowTo WHH:‘Gee, I hope Team Tracy didn’t trample your guaranteed “right” to be pleasantly entertained. Fortunately, some here were entertained with a first class story, in their collective views’”Well said, Morrow!
Vitamin, have you been taking your vitamins? You look so listless, tired, old. You look like a puffy, old version of Vincent Price. Sublimate that pining over the snows of yesteryear and get on with life! Coffee calls! Duty calls!
Yesterday’s strip is now up here at GoComics, for those of you who were unable to get it yesterday. However, all but 2 of the comments have disappeared. Pity, too. We had some real good discussions the last two days.
I felt like the conclusion to the Annie crossover story was perfect. It gave the closure that the Annie fans have been needing for four years.
And in spite of the negativity from a small handful of detractors, I felt the story was great. I loved it from beginning to end. Thank You Team Tracy For a Fabulous Story!
I also feel like the “loose ends” will eventually be tied up. Unanswered questions demand answers. And that’s why I think TMS is planning an Annie revival. The answers are forthcoming, if not here, then in a future Annie strip. The so called loose ends were left unanswered deliberately because Mike and Joe are just too good at what they do to leave so many things unresolved.
In regard to yesterday’s strip, I commented early on how much I appreciated the tribute that Team Tracy gave to the Annie strip itself, along with its writers and artists. I’ll repeat the comment I made that the list is unfortunately incomplete. The name Tex Blaisdell should have been included in the list. I realize someone else commented hours later on the same thing, but I just feel like Blaisdell should get some credit too.
so… oliie gotbucks FINALLY admits to bribing mayor armstrong, and tracy just ignores the admission. GREAT police work!
sorry tho, i dont knwo who this Coffee guy is.. any ideas?
also, davidf42, you know for CERTAIN that TMS is planning an annie strip for revival? dare we ask HOW you became privy to such information?!?! and i swear to GOD that if joe and mike are the creators of the revived annie strip, and this whole story was their audition, i will be thoroughly irritated!
Just a rundown….on June 1st, Ollie is talking to the Police Commissioner about having Tracy assigned to the case “We can’t pullthe Chief of Detectives off his case load to look for your missing daughter” REJECTED!!!
On June 7th he is talking to Mayor Armstrong about having Tracy and the MCU assigned tot he case “Mayor, I must have Detective Tracy and the MCU assigned to this case.” (ollie then takes out his checkbook and pen, looking at Mayor Armstrong, he continues) “Surely your city must have a project to which Warbucks International can offer assistance?”
June 8th Pat Patton congratulates the entire MCU on the Tabby Angus case and how they did some great detective work, then continues to say “That’s why this news is so puzzling. I’ve been ordered to take the MCU off all assignments to concentrate on one matter.”
Sam replies, asking “Are we going after The Blackhearts Chief?”
right THERE it’s stated that every case the MCU was working on was to be dropped by order of Mayor Armstrong after she accepted a check from Warbucks AND it also shows they had other cases to work on (Sam specifying The blackhearts by name as one active case they were involved in)
August 6th Sam makes the call to Fritz Ann for the FBI to assist them
October 12th.. the story FINALLY comes to an end after four long, dragged out, confusing months

Coffee is back! We haven’t seen him for a while. And Vitamin Flintheart has a chance to make a dream come true. Very interesting.

Yesterday’s strip, and the usual pequod masterpiece, are finally up. Pequod just posted his poem about 2 hours ago.

Make that 3 hours.

How come everyone in Tracyville usually hold onto items with thier fingertips? Maybe something in the water?
Pequod about 10 years ago
Always good to see Vitamin (and the work of an artist who can draw hands). Coffee has a fresh cup of Joe, so there’s something in the air.
avenger09 about 10 years ago
It is definitely fabulous to see Flintstone again (and the work of an artist who can draw fingertips).

Will love bloom anew for Vitamin? Or will he be talked into writing a really depressing book about his late wife—“it worked for Les Moore!”

Hey, you’re right. I didn’t look close enough. My bad. I guess those two comments were actually reposts.
