Good morning VistaBill, davidf42 and others. Vitamin is infatuated/smitten with KandyKane. If she doesn’t feel the same way, Vitamin will be crushed. Y’all have a blessed day.

Morning, VistaBill & all the rest.-—So Vitamin sees Kandikane as being in love with him.I call that an optical delusion.

Unfortunately, Gweedo, my wife passed away in 2010. We had been married 50 years. I would never ever have said anything like that to her. I’m not like Ralph Kramden! He was king of his castle!

All activity in Tracyville has been suspended why we wait for this ham sandwhich to run out of steam which past history tells us it might be awhile.

I believe her “infatuation” (good word Neil) is the reason for her to decide to do this documentary in the first place.

P.S. RIP Jimmy Ruffin. Now we know “What Becoms of the Brokenhearted.” He was 78. Man, I hate losing the greats.

Poor old Vitamin! After panel 3, I have to conclude that he is thinking with his heart rather than with his head. Tracy was right: admiration (and respect) don’t equate to (romantic) love!

Morning, Tracyville!Vitamin is acting just like a man does in his sad condition. End whatever Tracy says to him, he’s going to have a comeback for.

Vitamin’s REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE would likely give him ALL the confidence he now exudes . . .

Snowflake Falls his earlier wife (in the strip) was in her time, equally young - compared to our aging bard . . .That was another March and December union.

Likely sees the same theatrical Magic at work again . . .Just like a well remembered tune or script line running ‘over and over’ in his MIND ! (?)

Of course, giving Vitamin a kiss “for luck” before going onstage at dress rehearsal didn’t help matters much…

AMEN, Brother Stilldamatt! I totally agree. Maybe Vitamin ought to concentrate on finding a cosmetic surgeon who wants the challenge of fixing his nose. That ought to consume 6 months.

As the Djinn said in another movie Vitamin might have had a bit part in, “When a man’s belly speaks, he forgets his head; when a man’s head speaks, he forgets his heart; and when his heart speaks, he forgets EVERYTHING !!!”

Happy Birthday, Chester Gould. We don’t know exactly what Kandikane’s feelings are, yet her phone conversation suggests, to me, something more than professional admiration. There’s more than one way to suffer a broken heart, so here’s wishing the old ham happiness.

Hey guys, is Vitamin rich? Could Kandykane be after him for money? That’s why most young women go after old men.

Hey, if it works for him, if it works for her, if they make each other happy, why should anyone else’s opinion matter? Bottom line is, you don’t have to be always shooting for future 50 year anniversary material. 5 years, 10 years, whatever happily together beats 5 years, 10 years alone or unhappy instead. We have a divorce rate that’s through the roof that points out age similarity is far from the most important factor in a relationship…..if really much of a factor at all.

Since the current story involves a play and the lingering effects of life in Annieville are still with us I think it’s proper to mention that Mike Nichols, who won a Tony award for directing Annie in 1977 and also won awards in all the other major entertainment fields died today. He was extremely talented to say the least.

Vitamin said, “Maturity comes to each of us with time. I can be patient.” The question that needs to be asked is can she be patient enough for him to reach maturity. That could be a wit that never ends.
