Actually, Blowtop and Tracy were on their knees in the first panel. They were trying to peek through the same keyhole at the same time. Hence, the doorknob placement.

Totally classic Blowtop face in the first panel. I love that. His reply in the last panel, “Oh yeah? I heard Stiletta was in Europe!” reminds me of Schultz from Hogan’s Heroes. "I see nothing. I know nothing.

I remember when I saw the part where Tracy’s house burned down, and it was in the 1960’s (time-out-of-time, of course).

Blowtop blew up Tracy’s house(which was modeled along the lines of a Frank Lloyd Wright home) in the late 40’s. In the 60’s, it was the Apparatus that blew up Tracy’s new home. A great storyline, IMO!

A couple of hard guys exchanging impolite banter. If Tracy leans on him, maybe, woo gosh, Blowtop will suddenly remember that Stiletta is now in town….

In panel 3 Blowtop looks like he’s a big fan of Goldie’s duck lips!

“Let’s see,, the gif I posted mentions a character from the strip AND is commenting about a physical aspect of this character, I think I pass the Kenny test! LOL!!!

Hey here’s some food for thought… does anyone know if Stiletta still has the Wrist Wizard she lifted off Tracy all those years ago?

wouldnt it be a HOOT if she was overhearing everything thats going on between tracy, catchem, and jones? (hey, isnt that a LAW FIRM?!?!)

unless of course Diet deactivated the wrist wizard after tracy so carelessly allowed stiletta to remove it from his person ;) (thats a joke kids.. in case y’all didnt get it!)

A comment for those who place pictures or videos in the forum.1. When placing an image, please put width=“350” in your HTML code line. This will keep the image from being wider than the comment field.2. When inserting embed code from YouTube change the width=“640” height=“360” to be half of that, width=“320” height=“180” This will allow the video to fit inside the comment field.Thanks.

Writer Mike Curtis shared this information on upcoming strip events on the DT Yahoo Board a couple days ago . . .Captioned - – “What’s planned for Dick Tracy” . . .Sure he’d like someone to pass it on here . . . Enjoy !

“Right now I am writing a tale about a train robbery.

The summer story will be the Blackhearts wrapup.

Mysta Chimera will return this summer as well as an expanded role for Honeymoon.

The fall will bring a very unusual tale. And if and when the banks made unpopular news, Blackjack will return.

Oh yeah, we briefly look in on Notta Faller this spring, with hopefully a big surprise coming”

    . . .

    MIKE

RWM, his goal of the day is to beat CPalmeresq OR Anyface to the first post. It’s really easy to be the first poster, if one is so inclined, but I doubt if he figured it out. So today, he carps about the doorknob, leaving out his signature LOL. Your pal is soooo savvy and cool!

Losing the format space which allowed for that fourth panel is a sad thing.

Over in the comic book world, when original art pages were physically downsized during the mid-1960’s, many artists, writers and letterers had a difficult time making the adjustment.

This shift is perhaps most visibly noticeable in Fantastic Four #67, where the change in page size occurs mid-story.
