Well, Notta and Blaze are to have an ongoing working relationship. I really wonder what couldbe iun those mysterious packages.

And there’s Purdy, still sitting these looking vegetative. I do not believe that he’s Mr. Bigg. I don’t know who Mr. Bigg is, but I’m really leaning towards the only surviving member of the 52 Gang. That’s what really makes sense to me. The playing card motif tells me that the Blackhearts gang are the 52 Gang reborn.

Following up on yesterday’s late-in-the-day speculation on how/why a certain Space Coupe creator/pilot might not be quite so dead as we’ve been led to believe.____________________

Hmm. Regular delivery of packages via the Blackhearts: slightly (or very) illegal medications for Purdy? This curious budding relationship between Blaze Rize and Notta Fallar could become interesting….

I’m keeping track and this story is mostly about Blaze so far, but now that she’s buddying up with Notta, it could be about both of them. I like the theory about illegal medications, Sisyphos. You could be onto something there.

Notta doesn’t seem like she could take care of herself let alone a guy that seems a little incapacitated. You never know but just maybe she’s a ball of fire when she lays down her martini glass. And checkout that hair doo, you know that’s a lot of work. She does spend some time infront of that mirror.

Well we observe he’s not standing, but noticing anything ‘different’ or ‘odd’ about Purdy Faller - today ?

Purdy remains very much a long shot. Still, I don’t rule him out 100%. Blaze can’t see his face. While it is illogical that Mr. Bigg would have Blaze deliver a package to his own home, it likely contains a valuable illegal substance that is best left in the hands of an underling. There is an ample supply of beverage with two extra glasses at the ready. One for Blaze and one for Purdy? Is Purdy hoping Blaze makes a fast exit so he can partake? Or is Notta’s tolerance as high as her hair? Tune in tomorrow…

There is a male voice doing voice-over in a language I do not recognize, but it is possible to listen for, and hear, the original English underneath his voice. At least you can catch most of the dialog, enough to grasp what is going on.My favorite Zorro is still the Disney show, but these are very good also.(My attempt to paste the link didn’t work. Whew! Finally caught up! So busy since Saturday, missed reading Pequod and Avenger’s poems—great work from both of you!

I wanted to respond to AnyFace and other posters concerning that pic of Dick Tracy with his Tommy gun pointed at a couple of baddies. The place was Disney-MGM Studios Florida, currently called Disney’s Hollywood Studios, recognized by the iconic Mann’s Chinese Theater facade in the background (it’s an attraction called the Great Movie Ride—a moving theater showing scenes from “The Wizard of Oz,” “Alien,” Mary Poppins," among others)

“Dick Tracy—Diamond Double-Cross” was the stage show from May 1990-February 1991, amid the hype of the “Dick Tracy” movie being released in June 1990. Disneyland in California had a similar version of the show in it’s own park at about the same time.

I, however, was not there to see the show in person, for I have started working at the park in 1992, and the stage show had been gone already (it only lasted 10 months). Oh well, how time flies.

Do you mean the comic books or the comic strip that ran in the newspapers at the time of the TV series (it was distributed by the Ledger Syndicate)?

I didn’t write the comment. I was just quoting it, but I think I have the answer. There is a new line of comic books, known as “Batman ’66” which is based in the TV series. If you follow that link, you can see some sample pages. It’s a “digital first” or simultaneously released in digital series. The weird thing is that the first story seems to be intentionally printed out of register. I suppose that it gives it a more authentic 1960s comics feel, but it would bother me if I had to read very much of it like that.
