OKAY! After FIVE whole…long… drawn-out days of this seemingly never ending story arc, FINALLY, it gets interesting & there is a tie-in to the Blackhearts! Whew! (Anyone with a tongue remover, could you help me get it from my cheek? Many thanks!)

Enter, the Blackhearts into this story. See they do have at least one finger in every pie. There, we see where Jimmy is getting the loan to finance his train robbery. He’s hoping to score big on the robbery, thereby giving him the resources to pay back the Blackhearts.

That shirt looks like something that would have been popular in the 1970s. I didn’t mention that observation before.

I’ve seen plenty of much worse phone grips. This one is certainly better than average and doesn’t detract from the excellent happenings and drawings of today’s strip.

Actually, I think you’re right that he’s paying them off for allowing him to operate in “their” city, but I also think that they are loan sharking money to him. Sam mentioned yesterday about all the small-time operators who don’t that “resources” to pull a big robbery like this.

Jimmy and BB Eyes sure have got a real Bro-man macho handshake going on in panel 2!

Sharks are usually not terribly sympathetic to sob stories. But maybe BB-Eyes Eizlander has a special soft spot for Jimmy Choo Shooz and will grant the extension he asked for—especially if Jimmy should give any hint why….

That’s true. It’s a very difficult task fencing a billion in gold. Jimmy may be smart, but he could probably still use the expertise of the Blackhearts—they have international connections.

By the way, I didn’t know B. B. Eyes’ last name until today.

As Willy’s reprint shows, it’s been in the strip as far back as 2011, but it seems to vary in spelling between “Eislander” and “Eizlander.”

Waiting in anticipation. Been a long time since I held one of those.Don’t hold your breath. I think I’ve had it in mind for about a year, but I’ll do it as soon as I have time. I have a new job for the next week or two that will be keeping me quite busy and I’m involved in a programming contest all day tomorrow. I’m not sure when I’ll get the chance.
