That odd shape in the upper left corner of panel three …

    … perhaps a vehicle?

So, maybe I was right about Venus and Apollo being on the 5th floor. That means that Tracy and Sam are only one floor below the escaping Mr. Bigg.

I’m sure we’ll have to get back to who’s dead or alive on floor below and whether anyone is still on the move. The only place left for them to be is the stairwell between the 5th and 6th floors. There doesn’t seem to be any more movement on the 5th. We’ll have to get back to T-Bolt, too, but I think that will be left to near the end.

The square thing below the “B” of “BOOM” seems to be a window or a wall panel of some kind blown out by the explosion that was triggered, presumably, by Mr. Bigg’s pushing of the large pink (?) button.

That is probably the trashcan in the second panel yesterday.Tomorrow is likely cut away time and we will have a look at what happened downstairs.

Is the drone a decoy? Is Bribery going to waltz out in disguise having temporarily neutralizing Mysta? Is Punjab going give the drunken fellow a magic carpet ride? I’m kinda worried about the various innocents here …

Looking at yesterday’s strip again, those devices could be pistons, driven by small explosive charges, designed to punch out that section of the Ace Tower wall, though the process seems to have kicked up way more debris than you’d expect …

Think the SBN video feed in panel #2 is being supplied by the “Drone” in panel #3?

Wendy sighed and felt a sense of professional despairShe had nothing new to say as she reported live on the airI’ll give them all a recap of information they already knowAnd hopefully something new will happen before it starts to snowReally this is all Tracy’s fault he’s such a conceited snobHe acts like no one else could fill his shoes and do his jobHe never once has thanked me for all the attention to him I bringAll I ask is his story rights but my phone he never ringsOnly once did he send a gift it came one Christmas nightAn officially licensed “It’s a Gift!” fedora in a color, oh what a frightWhat I really need right at this very precise momentIs something amazing to explode that’ll cause my competitors tormentQuickly take the camera shoot the building and put it to zoomAnd hopefully in the next few moments something stupendous will go BOOM!

.I fell asleep waiting for the site to update! Hey, be merciful people, there was nothing to work with today! LOL!

That yellow thing underneath the word BOOM, unfortunately looks like it may be Tracy’s raincoat. I hope not!

Very nicely done, Avenger! Enjoy your stuff.

AnyFace remarked,Good luck! :) I want FIOS, but I’m too cheap to spring for it.-—————————————————————————————————,I was satisfied with my $17.99/month (total) Verizon DSL but they kept putting the screws to me to convert. Frequent sl disconnects, no dial tone on my land line phone. And now they say that all “copper wire” service will be discontinued in two months. Verizon wins!

I’m sure that blast was just to cover Bribery’s tracks.Tracy and Co. will spend a lot of time searching through the debris for his body, and it’ll take Diet Smith to explain just what the wreckage used to be. Was it something stolen from Smith’s R&D? Or could it be moon technology?

Mr. Bigg said something about activation just before he left his office. I keep thinking, “activate the escape hatch,” so I think that’s what it is unless he blew himself up, but I don’t think so.

Gweedo cautioned,Hope you have an empty wall they can hang their electronics control panel on.-————————————————————————-.Unbelievable! Fortunately, I cleared the entire wall where the cable would be inserted since I was not aware of the exact entrance point. So I was fine. Total time 2.5 hours of which 1+ hour was spent outside connecting to Verizon FiOS pre-installed equipment (I live in a garden-type condo one flight up). I did not opt for tv since I get free cable tv from Comcast in my condo fee. So all I did select was “25/25” internet to replace my aging dsl and “Digital Voice” to return my dial tone. I have not been able to make or receive landline calls for several months since I lost my dial tone and Verizon informed me that they were no longer servicing the old copper wires in my area. Enter FiOS! Bye, bye $$$$$$.

Gweedo asked,Does that mean Time Warner is out ?-————————————————————————————————.Gweedo, I live in a condo. My options were Verizon FiOS, Comcast, or satellite (one carrier). All expensive with Verizon the lesser of the lot. I get “25/25” cable internet and “Digital Voice Per Minute” for ~$60/month total. The Digital Voice is five cents a minute but I use Google Voice (free) to make my calls plus I have my Apple iPhone 5s.Previous cost was ~$35/month for Verizon DSL and my landline dial tone.

Gweedo inquired,Yeah, that condo business makes you less optioned, but I can see your connection here looks good. Does that mean you’ll be the first post of the day from now on, Bill ?-————————————————————————-.Heee, heee! My hours are not consistent, Gweedo. I am nearing 81 years of age so my sleep habits leave a lot to be desired. For now, I’ve been going non-stop since 5 am. Time to crawl into the coffin for a nap. I’m installing W10 on Sunshine (laptop) at the moment. Can’t be any worse than W8.1, can it? I still have Vista on three of my machines (computers are one of my hobbies!).

Hello everyone! Long time reader of all of your comments, very entertaining and informative. Just wanted to jump into the mix, probably not going to comment much, but read these posts daily. I may have missed something, and just wanted to ask: what about all those gold bars in the Bigg’s office; are they left behind?

Gweedo mantioned,A co poster recently got an HP “craptop” w/10 and was having trouble accessing old emails but fixes by the company have it working good now.-———————————————————————-.I use GMail for my mail so I wouldn’t encounter the problem. I seldom used Sunshine anyway so I had nothing to lose. The download and installation went well. I like what I see! I had been tempted to install Vista in Sunshine since I have spare product keys. Shadow 2, my “dream laptop”, a Dell Latitude machine had to go back for a repair that was beyond my capability. I purchased a refurbished machine and it died within ten days. The return and repair cost nothning. It’s on the way back to me.

Gweedo asked,I have the formatting discs for Vista. Is that the same thing ? Could I load it into some other machine ? What is your opinion on Dell, HP, Toshiba ? etc. My Tosh’ has been good and just wondering if I want to stay with the brand on my next iteration or migrate.-—————————————————————————-.I suppose the formatting disks are the installation disks. I never heard them described that way before. You can use a genuine Windows Vista installation disk on any pc but only once per product key. I am fortunate to have two old product keys in reserve. Gweedo, if you use an OEM installation disk, it might not install. If you use a manufacturer’s Vista disk in a different brand of computer, MS usually discovers the mismatch and restricts full use of the os even with a valid product key. Stay clear of OEM versions of any Windows operating system. .I was using a refurb Dell before I purchased Comet (Compaq Presario) in 2007. Recently, I purchased a Dell Optiplex desktop and later a Dell Latitude laptop. Both are refurbished machines and look and act like new machines. .Some sources for refurbished pcs are Amazon, Tiger Direct, and Computer Refurb. I bought from Computer Refurb. Huge selection of brands and very good prices. Good reputation, too. Highly recommended. .My personal choice would be a Dell computer. I’m pleased with my 8 year old Compaq (made by HP). That’s my “dream machine”. I put a lot of time into customizing it. .Macintosh? Excellent machines but I do not like them. I am Windows-minded. Thanks for asking me, Gweedo. I’m an 80 year old computer geek! From what I see, you are very capable… “computer literate”.

I think Mr, Bribery made his escape via that machine, but that it blew up after he’d left. You know, so no one could use it to follow him, or learn where he went.I realize I didn’t say what I meant to in my earlier comment (made without enough caffeine in my system).

I was expecting some kind of independently operated elevator that would take someone down through the building and to the basement, making a perpendicular turn out of the building to an undisclosed location. This doesn’t look like that. Looks like he may be going up and out. With your HQ in a publically recognized building a secret escape is good to have but it doesn’t seem they prepared for this kind of assault.

How’s the FIOS on its first day out ?

I believe Vista Bill is enjoying his new Verizon FiOS 25/25 plan – 25mbps download-25 mbps upload :) Vista Bill is soon going to run out of disk space. :)

Gweedo was quick to note:I see a conflict in “My personal choice would be a Dell computer. I’m pleased with my 8 year old Compaq (made by HP). That’s my “dream machine”.” -sure you’re not a politician, B ? -Thanks for the breakdown, Bill. How’s the FIOS on its first day out *-—————————————————————————-.That confused me also, Gweedo. Comet came along at the right time and the right price. .FiOS is fine! You wouldn’t believe how many times I was disconnected with my dsl. Sometimes several times in a few minute period. Get up, go to router, turn off, go to kitchen, unplug and replug phone line, back to router, turn on, wait a few minutes, if all the lights came on, I was ok for a while. If not, I had to redo the procedure. Verizon’s answer = FiOS. I love being able to download eight YouTube full length movies at a time in a matter of minutes. Good thing i have 10tb of empty external drive space!
