Matty 2.0! That’s a huge screen Mr. Bribery’s got there.

First Notta, now Bribery and Matty Squared. This is fantastic. I’m loving this story.

I take it Matty Squared is another blast from the past? Not familiar with this one. Of course, anything with Bribery will surely be entertaining.

I was expecting to see to more of Notta getting cozy with “Dick Tracy,” but switching over to Bribery and Matty Squared is fun, too. Seeing all these classic characters from the 1960s is making me dizzy with glee.

So – Pretty much – Bribery had Glitch build him a high-end Tamagotchi.

Max Headroom does come to mind.

This was done before with the criminal Memory Banks.

Three months after mentioning it to begin with and they unveil….this?!?!

Sorry if I don’t share the rest of the board’s enthusiasm with this revelation but the name (and face) mean nothing to me.

.In fact, I thought “matty squared” was a “normal version” of professor glitch himself… but judging by the name of his “creator” I am pretty sure this will not end well at all.

and for the record, once again we have two or three days focusing on ONE story, and then a sudden jump/change of direction into ANOTHER story. while I am pretty certain that these two will SOMEHOW tie into eachother, it would be nice if we could “keep the train on the tracks” for more than two or three days at a time

I expect Miss Deal to walk in any minute.(But I guess it would be stretching it too far to hold out for Ugly Christine.)

You know how long it took me to get him unstuck on consonants? (“Hey B-B-B-B-Bribery…”)

Life inside the box has severe limitations. On the bright side, Matty Squared has no neck for Bribery to chop, chop, chop…

How can a “virtual” entity be “alive”?

It’s just a matter of semantics. In a sense, he is alive. He’s “intelligent” too, so anything could happen.

P.S. You can see from the last few panels why Miss Deal isn’t likely to show up in this new story — or at least, not to help Bribery. :)

While we’re at it, here also is the sequence of daily strips that show the original Matty Square being initiated into Bribery’s organization.

I do like the imaginativeness of today’s strip, though. A new artificial life form with an attitude? Yeah, baby!

I wonder why Bribery chose Matty Square for his A1? Wouldn’t he choose someone who meant more to him like his sister Ugly Christine? I imagine Matty Square had more of a personality so would be more entertaining in the story.
