To think, when Max Allan Collins started his run, one of the things he did was to not have anything with the Moon people because he wanted DT to return to its roots.

I wonder how long it’ll be before Notta decides to knock off her dear brother.-What was it Hot Rize said to that driver just before she murdered him? Something about two people can keep a secret if one is dead, I think. I think it’s only a matter of time before Notta comes to the same conclusion about Blaze.

I’m not sure what she means by “move about” though. I don’t suppose he’s getting up out of his chair and walking around — or is he? He did walk a bit after he was quick frozen as I recall.

The Purdy in panel one is certainly a Chet creation..

Purdy knows the location of several caches of secretly buried Moon gold. He had a deal with Bribery to smuggle it to Earth. If Purdy is revived or can be revived, he is a very valuable asset for Bribery.

Remember, Bribery’s Blackhearts have cloned Moon Maid and tried to steal a Space Coupe, Bribery will spare no expense to get back to the Moon. The one flaw in his plan is that I don’t believe he knows Moon Valley is a wasteland.

Interesting history, I will need to do some research on that era of DT, thank you everyone for sharing your knowledge on the history of the strip it makes it so much easier for a newbie to understand the stories.

There was a discussion a while back as to whether Notta’s outfit included a mesh, see-through top of some sort. Many folks here thought that it was an error on the part of the Go Comics colorist. But, today, it seems that Joe’s lines make it clear that she is wearing something over her body suit. You can see the outlines in both panels 2 and 3, and the colorist again interpreted it the same way.
