Adam goes for popcorn, Silver Nitrate starts to rage

Humor Sprocket at this time and wind up in a cage.

Police now here striking fear in the con man behind shades

He starts to sweat, feeling deep regret, his confidence soon fades.

Cinderella desires her fella, determined now to fight

Had enough of the rough stuff, soon a princess at Midnite.

Silver is brash, determined to dash, now is the time for flight

Sprocket sure knows how that story goes, prefers her future bright.

Adam doesn’t think it odd that “Susan” is settling in to watch a movie in a darkened theater while still wearing her shades? I guess he’s pretty love-struck.

I’m glad we’re getting closure with “Midnite Mirror.” Which reminds me, whatever happened with the movie Mysta was starring in? I know the producer was bumped off, but as famous as Mysta is in Tracyworld (and Moon Maid before her), surely the studio would want her movie to hit the theaters. “Midnite Mirror” must have had at least as much if not more negative publicity than Mysta’s movie, and it didn’t get shut down.

Silver’s sudden appearance “above ground” makes little sense unless either A) he’d somehow heard that the cops were nosing around, or B) he is so insanely jealous of Sprocket-Susan and her date that he could not hold back from trying to interfere. Either way, he now knows that police are closing in and wants to split PDQ. Susan-Sprocket wants to continue her date/see Midnite Mirror/eat some popcorn, and is not ready to leave. Silver’s glib Cinderella analogy works only insofar as Sprocket is now wearing the shoes her prince Adam has given her and might shuck them if she did choose to flee with Silver right now. She won’t. I’m not sure how this all will go down exactly, but I suspect Silver is enjoying (or fretting over) his last minutes of freedom. Susan could skate (if she were wearing skates!)….

P.S. All “Susan” and “Sprocket” name permutations were chosen for effect and are not mere random variations….

Sprocket will ditch her shoes when she has to run for it. Prince Tracy will go all over the kingdom of Tracyland trying the shoe on women until he finds the one it fits.
