It’s nice to know that Sam had a good holiday, but Hanukkah ended like two weeks ago. Are there really Jewish people who give Hanukkah presents at Christmastime? Also, Merriam-Webster lists about 24 ways to spell Hanukkah, but the one in today’s strip is not one of those. It really ought to have a double k, but there is no logical way it should have a double n, according to the Hebrew spelling.
As I remember, Derby Dugan is Sam’s favourite comic strip. It doesn’t really exist, but there was a book about it.
In related news, Wormy survived the fire & now wants to be refered to as Mellifluous Voice. Oh & B-B Eyes asks that you address him only as Short ’n Squinty.
Good of Sam to update us on his Hanukkah and Christmas presents; then, Pat Patton reminds us of what went down at the funny farm; and Tracy is made aware of what nemesis he might have to face: Splitface….
