Despite the dearth of good hard edge drama in the strip the rescue scene was done with tenderness and care that shows real human concern and how two adversaries have finally buried the hatchet and not by dropping it off the roof.
Not sure I get the thinking here…..what did they expect when they left her up there? Either she would get free and implicate them, or die…..with hands bound, an obvious murder and them the #1 suspects.Crazy…..
(1) I love the Sunday artwork. (2) Of course she’s freezing! Being tied up like that cuts off your circulation! Cold weather makes it even worse for Frisk!

(3) A professional (decide for yourself what kind of professional I mean :P ) could have easily shimmied off the ledge toward safety, but we know Frisk isn’t a professional.
1-DT: FRISK! I heard a killer rat up her somewhere. Get up! We gotta go!
FRISK: You heard me shrieking moron. Try to notice I’m tied up would ya?2-DT: Ooh. Kinky!
3-FRISK: Just cut me loose and…
4-…don’t damage my favorite coat.
DT: Yeah, well, oops. How do you turn off your vibrator weirdo?
5-FRISK: IT’S NOT A…oh never mind. How far do you think we’ll get before the building starts to come down and scares everyone into believing that we’re doomed after all?
DT: And we get out not a second too soon? No way! Too cheesy! Come on. We’ll take our time getting outta here. No need to hurry at all…
Romance in Dicko’s future?. Tess may object. BTW, given she’s been hogtied for two weeks, will Friskie ever walk again? Nice Deus ex Machina on the wrist thingee BTW
Way to go, Tracy, old man! And I’m glad to see you had a pocket knife handy. Frisk’s nonchalant banter just covers how happy she is to be rescued by you..
Get her warm, then proceed with the chase. It was the Howells, you know. They must be brought to account!
So the Sunday strips of February 22 and 29, 2004 show Frisk during her climactic chase of Sal Monella, which ended with her missing and presumed dead on March 9. That jacket was (ugh) part-pink, part-orange! No way that’s what she is wearing in today’s strip!

Diet helps to track the call. Locates Genii position
Chandler empty. Boarded up. ‘Tis set for demolition.
Frisk trussed up tight. Hard and fast. Served cold as on a platter
As she struggles to be free, she fears a fall shall splatter
Her upon the street below. Unsightly, badly broken
Keeps her calm and works the ties. Great terror left unspoken.
A nut is popped. Frisk nearly dropped. So weakened the support
Tracy arrives. Thus she survives. Death trap he does abort.
Her life is saved. The way is paved. Forgive and then forget
Brings her in out of the cold. She’s freezing, soaking wet.

Good morning™, finders of hidden Geenees!
It’s amazing sometimes the things you find in old coats, but usually in the pockets.
The next step is to track down the Howells, not to mention Lily Seven who drugged her own daughter for a bit of cash.

My phone needs charging at least once a day, if I’m careful.
I want the batteries in the wrist genii.

I notice that Frisk isn’t drawn quite as extremely today as on previous Sundays.

“Come in out of the cold.” Double meaning? Maybe Frisk will become a regular again?

Now, come on in out of the cold. – In more ways than one.

Regarding the Crimestopper’s Textbook – the last time a car threatened someone was when Stephen King’s “Christine” was made into a move.

I can’t decide whether the wrist genie in the coat lining was convenient or contrived.
