DRYSTYHA: my dear, I checked out the Ziggy comments and extend condolences on your prospective empty nest =( I’m entering my late 50’s but had our kids pretty young. They commuted daily to NYC colleges, but when they had both left home by marriage - jeesh, I missed them so much I dreamt of their earliest years every night; woke up with damp eyes, so I can relate. Each stage of life goes by so quickly you don’t want to hurry any of them, so take pleasure in helping nurture your son’s budding independence. ps: if grandkids are in your future years, you’ll be seeing plenty of your whole new bigger family soon enough, I promise!
