Okay, “possible spotter activation” means there will be a storm watch issued. That is not the time to panic. The time to panic is when there’s been a tornado warning, and you and the whole neighborhood have gone outside to look, and you see that the tornado is headed your way and blocked your route to the supermarket because your radio doesn’t have fresh batteries. That’s when you should panic.

My son is a trained weather spotter. It takes quite a bit of skill. I doubt Burl could have passed the test.
