Poor Sue. Couldn’t slave away for ol’ Bob for six full weeks. Had to suffer with being tanned and rested and lay out on the beach whilst the ILs back home froze. Pity. Dale and Burl are in full damage control mode now. God forbid that they should take their wives anywhere for even a weekend. Jeesch! Besides, doesn’t Ma Darwin usually spring for a road trip to FL each year? Although the Pennys are probably on every motel’s “do not register” list so they can’t stay overnight anywhere.
Yeah, those “girls” just live to cook for their men…if Joy and Marlene have any ba….. um… well, spine, that’s it, Burl and Dale will be lucky to get a home-cooked peanut butter sandwich tonight.Joy might be too mad to even look for the recipe for those. They only cook Stouffer’s when the boys are GOOD.Marg and Mikie — of course, Julie never makes a typo…. (rolls eyes…)
Leaky… from yesterday….well, as long as you’re getting some help…There are certain things I wouldn’t let it touch, though…it has such an air of detachment….
I think I’m in agreement with the rest of you. What would they actually cook?
marg, you could try making this your last stop of the night. Of course, if you’re already doing that, then never mind. But I know I’ll never be first here – though I could be first on other strips at 4:30 AM CDT.
I have mine arranged curiously and always see this both early and late. Nothing left to comment and I have no prob usually finding ___ so I said nothing till now. If everything is said I say nothing and only reveal the find really late if noone did before. I have been very busy with my hawks and they are having a fun and eventful hatch- Mom actually had an intimate moment with egg #1 reaching her beak inside to greet it and give encouragement ;-D Have to love that; Fitzroy loves kisses, too.___

Uh, I thought she was married to Bill. Why would she make ‘Bob’ a home cooked meal?
All right you guys, step up to the plate. I’m sick of being first here every day.

Those girls don’t make home-cooked anything, just ask Stouffers and Sara Lee.

Gotta love all the tie-ins… especially the ad on the TV in panel 2… “Go ahead, rub it in!”The movie is “Paradise Lost”, and the VHS tape is “Envy…”
and does Marlene’s shirt say “Home is where the heart is?”
Or do you think it’s hiding some other sentiment?

Tell ’em, Burl! Rationalize how sitting in the sun in warm weather is simply not worth the thrill of fixing your lard * an instant meal.

Good to hear from you again Leaky! I saw you late last night and thought it better to just wait and respond today.
I couldn’t find the hidden picture either. Saw a lot of circles with what looked like what could be smiles, but none with eyes.
Morning Crustwood!

Seems they could boil some water and make Ramen noodles, couldn’t they? No wait, they would probably burn the water!
