I believe their house has some furnishings from the office here and there, or at least several boxes of paper clips…

I remember in one view of the U_Store-It office, Burl had a huge drawer labeled something like “Stuff to take home.”

It may not all be office supplies…. though I’m sure the Penny’s haven’t had to buy a roll of tape in years… some of it is probably pilfered from abandoned storage lockers before they auction them…and of course anything that falls off the trucks is fair game.

Good Morning Crustwood and all Crustwoodians!

Leaky your first comment was just what I was thinking….I bet when he got it home, he realised it used some odd size staples, so he took it back.I used to have one like that…. more trouble than it’s worth.

Burl probably doesn’t know he gets $1.50 an hour below his pay rate, because they figure in his taking home $50 worth of stuff every week. Well, I’ll get out of the kitchen.Joy has so much to do… she needs space to make all that KFC.

He returned it because it wasn’t the red stapler.

I see the Readers Digest Condensed IQ test is on her To-Do list. Appropriate. A condensed IQ test for an IQ condensed down to 50.

GSA workers have nothing on Burl. In fact he could show them a few tricks.

One of the sad things about today’s strip is that Burl really doesn’t get it that stealing is wrong. And poor Joy, slaving away in the kitchen for how long, five or six minutes? Depending on if she stops to eat a Ho Ho or not.

I don’t think Burl could figure out how to load a stapler. People in my office ask me to do it all the time. Technology is so complicated.

Burl would have kept the stapler, but he couldn’t fit Bostitch staples in a Swingline.
