They are sooo suave and debonair I can’t stand it. Just look how smooth and sophisticated Joy is now since she took that course at the “Y.” See how she doesn’t put her face down into the plate like before? She how she has adopted Asian-Mediterranean Fusion—LaChoy Pizza Egg Rolls? She’s even taught Burl some of the same niceties of elegant table etiquette. Sigh.

Now the next project is to get Burl to give up going commando.

Special message for Leaky: Contact me. I am tasked with organizing a 21st century “Corps of Discovery Expedition” that will make our first one seem like a trip to the corner 7-11. This time you can be Meriwether and I’ll be William. More details to come.

I’m a bit surprised that they din’t hit a Chineses Buffet. However, that would take them days if they stayed with the chopsticks and they would have the manager saying: “You go home now” every 5 minutes..Where is everyone today? Did I miss the apacolypse, again?

Morning Crustwood, if any of you survived the comet.. As Finale noted, no one here. Maybe they are all inside watching the Olympics.

Actually, joy has a point, I may try that next time I am in a Chinese restaurant. The extra chopstick is like the extra fork, use it for the salad.

    I go now!

they got smart in our neighborhood, watching the obese black women stuffing their cargo-bag purses with shrimp, eggrolls, chicken wings, etc. you pay for it by weight in a doggy-box, and if they see you horsing your purse/bag, they call the cops and they do prosecute.

The faded green blouse with the pink-ish flowers is back. I wonder if it’s related to the GBw/OF…

During a visit to Japan my daughter and I were taken to a small family owned restaurant by our host. He eyed my chopstick technique and asked several times if I wanted a fork. Finally he called the owner over and spoke to him briefly. Soon the owner returned with a fork, child size, with a small Donald Duck medallion affixed to the handle.Later my daughter, who was seated so as to be able to see into the kitchen, told me that the owner had taken the fork away from a little girl, presumably his daughter, who was seated there eating her dinner. She said the owner was out of her sight for a minute or so, presumably to wash the fork before giving it to me

Stopping by for a sec…I’ve been gone cos the county fair is on, and a friend gives me passes…It’s closed Mondays, though, and I can’t go this Tues or Wednesday, so you’ll see me…. unless the comet gets me.Owensby, we have buffets around here…and yes, some people do steal, which may be why they raised the price a bit.Race and body size, however, have little to do with it.Your poor choice of words is unnecessary and racist.

Coot — yeah, I thought I was pretty good with chopsticks till I ate at a Chinese restaurant with a Japanese friend and noticed her unintentional cringing.

She’s too polite to say anything, fortunately… but a few months later when we went to Panda Express together she walked over and got the napkins and utensils…. chopsticks for herself, a fork for me.
