Yeah, the kid’s desperate, he’ll rip off that 7 cents so fast it’ll make your head spin.

Yeah, Burl….Give them a reason to.. OK… let’s say spit …. in your gas tank.As for his being willing to pay…I’ve been to a few places where there was almost no choice. Not in little towns like Crustwood, though.

A few meetings at a hotel in San Francisco…. no street parking for blocks.$5 for hotel valet parking if you had a ticket for the event. Nearby garages way more expensive.

Another, believe it or not, was my Dad’s doctor’s office in an old medical building in Oakland.Onstreet parking was uphill and down and he couldn’t walk it…Their valet parking was $7 !!

Yes, sir. And just so you know, I’ve been saving up a giant dose of “car freshener” since my breakfast burrito.

The guy will probably get a “50 cents off” grocery coupon as a tip……expired, of course.

Why not leave a “surprise” under the seat for Burl to find later?

Our last Sunday in Chicago we tryed to find parking for the Lincoln conservatory- lot was full and street parking was so dense that we gave up after 3 times around. Navy Pier had plenty of parking so we spent the day there. We had fun up in Wisconsin at the Dells and Ringling Circus museum. Next time he comes here, we will redoo some of the past- Taliesan West, Balloon ride and more. Downtown Phoenix has a lot more and once we are parked, the free buses get you everywhere when too tired to walk.

Dry… you’re quite welcome!Glad to hear it helped.

Actually (in case you see this …:)

I try to re-check all the forums before I go to the new day’s strips. With over 40 on my page, I can’t read through all of them…but at least the ones I’ve posted in, and usually a bunch I haven’t, too.So I would have seen your comment here OR on Claire! Thanks.
