OMG, what a consummate @я$€#0£€. I can’t imagine why either of them are ever invited to anything, unless the hosts are as crass as they are, and are merely looking for a gift grab. This being Crustwood, and having seen other of its denizens, that wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

I would have the same sentiments as Burl, but I would suffer in silence.

Judging by the age of those hens this isn’t the bride-to-be’s first gift-palooza. Etiquette allows for less delicate social niceties.

Imagine the odoriferous melange of heavy masking cosmetics and body sprays in that room. (The market’s looking for a B.B. inhaler..)

Burl, a Marlboro Man true, hankers for some fresh air. Problem? ’Cuz no problem for Joy. Stand by your man, hun!

Even Joy looks distressed by this boor. What a poor excuse for a human being. (Have we ever seen his parents, BTW?)

Clearly, there were insufficient “refreshments.” .(I might be inclined to attend. It would depend on if that sign said Congratulations Terry Sue and Chuck or Terry, Sue and Chuck.)

Cable? With all the free over-the-air channels?My guess is he would watch Gilligan Island reruns on MeTV or some bass fishing tournament.That is, if he’s not going to sit outside and watch his neighbors do lawn work.

I think Burl will sleep on the smelly couch tonight.
