All sounds normal by today’s air travel standards.
Toledo early, lol!
Channeling Jerry: Cute counter agent. Always had a thing for counter agents. Not so much gate attendants. Verl’d look good in a runway services coverall.
Speaking for myself: Department store cosmetic counter girls.. oh baby!
Burl and Joy are those people who, as soon as the plane lands, stand up and out in the aisle where they block everyone trying to get their bags and then rush down the aisle, pushing aside everyone trying to get their bags!
They’re headed for Chicago, right? And what’s that she’s putting on their bags? Oh, yes. Tags for Albania. .But don’t pity them. Pity those who sit near them on the return flight when they’ve been wearing the same clothes for a week. .(It wasn’t all that nice on the outbound flight, either. Cabin pressure is always a little low, making the pressure inside Burl relatively high. Hilarity ensues. Oh, yeah. Those are the onion rings coming through now.)
It doesn’t mattr if you have a bag overhead or not, you can’t get off the plane any faster, the aisle is full of people getting their bags, front of the plane simply gets out sooner than the back. .Where is their snack bag?

I cannot imagine anything worse than being sealed in an aluminum tube with them.

So he doesn’t want to wait two minutes to get his bag from the overhead, but he’ll stand by the carousel for hours waiting for it to come ’round?

Now a days you have to pay for checked bags. I’d rather wait in line on the plane than to pay the $50 or more dollars they charge for checked bags!
