Right…. the dentist saves every used up page…. grinds ’em into tooth filling.

And Joy needs that recipe…. she’ll substitute canned tuna for the whole chicken…. cream of mushroom soup for the home-made broth…. leave out the onions (you can hardly notice, right?)Leave out the peas… Burl hates ’em….Use Cool Whip and water instead of light cream….Serve it poured over toasted hamburger buns cos noodles take too long…..

It’ll look and taste just like every other “recipe” she “follows.”

About that sign…I think it’s MORE important not to use shoelaces as floss.

Brush after vomiting. Good advice. The acid can have an adverse effect on the enamel and it helps to get rid of that horrible taste. Doesn’t really get rid of it completely, though. Might want to gargle with some minty Listerine, too.

And my advice: Floss, brush, and rinse with antiseptic mouthwash after breakfast and before bed. If you’re still at an age where you need to use flouride rinse, use that instead at bed time (only use it once a day. Not good to use too much flouride). And for any meals or snacks in between, just brush. Take it from someone who’s learned her oral hygiene habits the hard way. Had to have two tooth extractions on the top. Second to last on one side, very last on the other and that one was a real struggle. Left my whole left side of the face very sore. I felt like I’d been in a fight.

It’s not surprising that meals and vomiting go together in the Penny household when Joy can surely shave 30 seconds off those easy one-minute-dinners.
