No Joy, you don’t look like a pig. They have curly tails.

Oh, never fear….

That plate will be gone by the time they leave.

 

Either she’ll idly munch it while they all sit and “digest” … which gives them time to decide whether they’ll just have one more bowl of pudding….. and maybe a chicken thigh…. and some tapioca…

Gotta make sure they get their money’s worth… and before they stand up….

cos with all those people in line waiting for tables, they’ll never get their seats back if they decide they’re still hungry.

 

OR, she’ll gobble it all in a hurry, hungry or not, when the beverage server reminds her that there’s a $5 charge for wasting food.

There was a sign to that effect on the wall of the (now closed) Fresh Choice salad bar and buffet here.

No taking any food out, and five bucks if you leave a substantial amount on your plate…..

though they didn’t hassle you about a few uneaten bits, or about not eating something you didn’t like… I’m sure they knew some stuff was …non-great.

That’s a great idea, Susan! People who waste food drive me nuts. If you don’t want it, don’t take it! Grrr.

Well, that might be a concern if that buffet sold actual food.
