Joy and Burl aren’t shocked at Jerry coming on to Verla. They’re used to that abomination. It’s that Verl apparently had some leftovers they missed out on, and now Jerry’s getting there ahead of them. They’d be really mad if they found out she’d been starting her day with a big glass of thick enough to eat with a fork gravy without them. Later, Jerry and Verl will go home and enact their favorite mating ritual involving buckets of gravy and a plastic sheet.

I have NO idea why I read this comic every day.
It’s about the same as slowing down to look at a 6 fatality car crash.
