I didn’t expect anything intelligent out of Burl’s mouth, and I wasn’t disappointed..

I saw a sign in a store recently that said “Sorry, no pennies.”

In Crustwood, you see a lot of signs in stores that say “Sorry, no Pennys.”

It’s NOT a grammatical error.

The Pennys are slipping, they didn’t even try to talk the saleman into painting their walls.

That’s what OOPS paint is for. A little less pricy, but sometimes we get a color near enough what we want.

I’m having a vision of full paint cans, headed home in the car, with the lids barely sitting on them, just waiting for the first stop sign.

What are those mixed paint color paints I see for sale for a dollar or two in the paint department?

I FOUND THE DRIP! Right there in the red shirt!

The store would lose of few bucks but I would love to see a couple like them get two free cans of paint poured over their heads!

Years ago (when I was young enough to do this) I wanted to paint our dining room a specific color of gray-green. I had no picture of it other than a very clear one in my mind. Went into town to a hardware store so old the wood floors were uneven and bought my custom-mix paint. Went home, nope, not quite right. I went back three times asking that man to put a little more of a certain pigment in. He didn’t charge me a penny more and the color was PERFECT. Now THAT’s the place with REALLY helpful folks!

Wouldn’t it be a shame if that paint mixer went haywire and dumped the paint over both of them. Just a thought….. ;-)

WTH? I need another week away from this comic.
