That doctor has treated the Penny’s before…

When my oldest was less than 3, he cut his forehead open on something, deep, right down to the bone. We took him to the ER, and they put us in a room, and we waited for over an hour. Of course he’s screaming the whole time. I was holding him, and gave him the bulb of the BP cuff to hold. He was biting it when the doctor finally came in. He was all condescending, and was like “Don’t let him play with that!” I went to put it back and he says “Don’t put it back, now it needs to be sterilized!” I was like, “Isn’t this the part everyone touches with their hands?” Maybe if we hadn’t been waiting for two hours with a screaming toddler, we wouldn’t have to resort to this…

“And when you did my rectal exam, you put your hands on my shoulders. Wait a minute, you put BOTH hands on my shoulders!”

He will have a hard time detecting her blood pressure since the ear pieces of his stethoscope aren’t in his ears.
