Someone brought friendship bread to a meeting once and brought some starter for anyone who wanted to take it. So I did. And then I followed all the instructions for the 10 days and made some. It was good. You make two loaves. You’re supposed to keep one then cut the other into two halves and give each to someone along with some starter. I gave some to my mom and she made one of the other versions with the recipe. I gave some to my (then) mother-in-law but her starter spilled.
