In an episode about language, it’s a shame that the writer couldn’t get it right about “everyday” vs “every day.” It’s almost as if the writer were proud of his chronicly sloppy writing.
t-rex has somehow come to believe that ‘tenet’ is a five-letter word that basically insults your entire world-view, goes on to insult that of your parents, and finally settles on suggesting that you have troubles in life because you don’t try hard enough.
I argue with T-rex’s assertion that languages are hard to learn, and he basically proves my point twice over. It’s so easy that baby’s can learn it, and in the end, you don’t even have to get everything right, you just have to get close understand enough you so people most can.
Personally, I think the person who has said the smartest thing about language here is T-Rex. Which is kind of embarrassing when you think about it, but that’s just personal opinion.

I don’t like hearing “different than” when it should be “different from.”

What would a rompin, stompin T-Rex need to know about language?
