I love this but no way was Captain Picard a wuss. I loved him. He was very sexy and I loved his voice.

Picard was a much better actor than Kirk, but I prefer Janeway

We love both Kirk and Picard. And watch the comments about hair-challenged individuals. We take umbrage at that, being in the club ourselves.

Brian, my lab Cleo passed away last night so I will be living vicariously through Sophie’s adventures. Thanks so much for a venue to enjoy your vision.

And Sophie can be a Wookie when they move on to Star Wars.

Brian, Sophie is perfect for Star Trek but who are the enemies ? The squirrels?

I’ll take Mullgrew too, but in a choice between Stewart & the Shat, I’ll take the Shat hands down - even if Stewart is the better actor. It’s like choosing between Sean Connery and Roger Moore or whoever is doing Bond now. Hands down, it’s Connery.

If Kirk had been played by a better actor, he wouldn’t have been nearly as interesting and enduring. Shatner was perfect for the role. And personally, I’d want Kirk by myside in a tight spot rather than Picard any day. When the fate of the universe boils down (as it always does) to a fistfight with an alien on the planet’s surface, Kirk’s your man!
