Isn’t dryer lint a miracle of nature, too? Happy Earth Day ;)

I think “My bad” is a useful addition to the idiom. It’s direct, phonically powerful, and its meaning is clearly evident.

I agree with fritzoid. In addition, I think the stacatto rhythm of, “My Bad” is appropriate to the meaning of the phrase.

Just imagine if “My Bad” had been around 6,000 years ago.

Genesis 3:13 “And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, Oops, My Bad.”

Genesis 4:9 “And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, My Bad, won’t do it again.”

Things might have turned out very differently…
