Some of my hubby’s friends in college had a cat and 2 ferrets. The ferrets would do EXACTLY this (latch on to the cat’s fur on her side and go for a ride around the house) to the kitty, who oddly never seemed to mind.
Ahh….now that’s funny!To @GoldenRoya (yesterday)…I take pleasure in constructing elaborate discourse myself…..but I come to DED for a light-hearted break!
Given the clear upper crust diction of these 2 little kitties, you should level the playing field, Brian. Give them banal names like “Hobo” and “Cheese” as I tend to think of them.
One time years ago I was upstairs in a quiet home when I began hearing a regular thump…thump…thump. I nervously peered out the door of the room I was in & down the nearby stairs to see my poor 25lb dog, Sam, struggling up the stairs. The “thumps” were caused by my 12lb cat, Madison’s hind legs as they were dragged painstakingly up the stairs. Her forelimbs and mouth being firmly attached to my very good boy’s neck. Poor baby. I am sorry to say I may have laughed a bit. But he was amptly rewarded for his patience. Madison was scolded… as if that did any good!

As long as there’s food, a cat learns its name whatever you call it.

Feeling a little heavier today Sophie? Kittens do like to tag along on anything moving.
