Come on, Sophie – you can do better than that.My Lab worked out pedal bins years ago – she has 3 methods of attack: 1. Use her nose to force the lid up.2. Stand on the pedal.3. If all else fails, follow Sophie’s method & give it a shove!
We used to keep the trash locked in the cupboard with a child lock(the cupboard sliding kind) and he figured out how to open it. So I haven’t bought a trash can because he would probably figure out how to open it and if not he’d probably just knock it over! Now he’s just locked out of the kitchen with baby gates. So far so good. :)
Our lab learned to open the backyard gate with her nose. My husband put a pin in the hole of the latch do she couldn’t do it anymore. So she opened the gate between our yard and the neighbor’s, crossed their yard and opened their gate and got out. She never went anywhere; guess she just wanted out of the back yard.
