Wish these Sunday strips would reproduce a little bigger…I always have to go in and use the magnifier. It’s not like we’re actually having to cram comics onto a physical page here.
Patient, lovely lab that Sophie… gotta reward her with cheese. And Brian, I like the introduction of the girl baby in the past few months… remind me of the last girl baby (March?_ …so cute and Doug so clueless…typical male child. Good thing Sophie’s watching his back.
Sophie was so patient. Amazing. but she’s a lab. .For a couple of summers – I was the adult in charge of everyone’s kids during adult softball tournies. And everyone brought their kids and dogs. Some had never met.
…It was the full grown Great Danes that posed a problem. I could not convince the basket full of 3 year old that these were dogs. Too big. So I told them the dogs were ponies that they couldn’t ride because their saddles were at home. .It worked well – even the older kids decided to go along with the tale. The owner of the Great Dane was so confused. Everyone was calling her dogs ponies.

“Wait, my ears are still attached” ROFL. Don’t worry Sophie, you’ll have Doug well trained by then.
