First night after we got our black lab…..we heard a strange noise out in the dining room, went there and turned on the light to find the dog standing in the middle of the table, licking the butter dish! She looked at us as if to say, “What’s your problem?”Learned to keep the chairs in after that.
We’ve discovered our little terrier, Max, on the dining room table 2 or 3 times in the last 3 yrs. since we got him, having a nice little nap for himself. It’s so cute, it’s hard to be angry at him, but we try to sternly reprimand him (after we take the requisite photo, of course!)(excuse the mess…that’s probably why we didn’t notice him up there right away: he kind of blends in!)
