    The first book of Piers Anthony’s Incarnations of Immortality series, Death – Riding a Pale Horse, also gives a sympathetic interpretation of death

    reminds me of a retriever in my building. Malcolm would pounce on spots of sunlight on the hall carpet. and bounce all around the ball. – He has moved. I think to a place with a yard.
