For which Sophie is very grateful.

It WAS child-safe. For about 45 seconds.

Child-proof, yes. Child and puppy proof, not so much.

And evidently from the look on Sophie’s face the contents were not that flavorable either. That looks like a busted yellow balloon in her mouth.
